This non-accredited Emergency Warden and Fire Extinguisher course is designed to provide participants with the practical knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to workplace emergencies. The course covers the roles and responsibilities of emergency wardens, emergency procedures, evacuation coordination, and the safe selection and use of portable fire extinguishers and fire blankets in a range of workplace situations.

The training content has been developed to align with the principles and recommendations of AS 3745-2010 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities, helping organisations support their workplace emergency preparedness obligations. Through practical activities and scenario-based learning, participants will gain valuable skills to assist in maintaining a safer workplace environment during emergency situations.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face face-to-face contact time of at least 3 Hours

Participants should be physically able to perform the role of an Emergency Warden in a workplace setting. 

This certificate does not require renewal

Participants will be required to participate in group discussions and practical simulations 

This course does not lead to a nationally recognised certificate
